Ninite was not known by a number of class members this week. Simply stated it is a quick, easy, and safe way to download programs. Many of the programs available on Ninite are used by us in the club. More details on this program at the November general meeting. You can also search this blog for more information using this search:

We looked at FreedomPop phones once again. More on this in the blogs over the past couple of months. Simply stated you order a free smartphone and activate it for $30. They give you a trial of their unlimited 2gb package for one month. Within that month you can downgrade to the free plan and keep the phone. I did. The free plan comes with 200 minutes of talk on the phone number they have assigned to you, 500 messages, and 500mb of free data to search the internet with.
