Printing Envelopes
As we all get older by the day our handwriting has deteriorated more and more I'm having the worst time preparing a nice-looking envelope and also printing one with my Epson printer and my Libreoffice software!

Years ago I had the free Word software (Windows 95 or 98 came with the PC) that could click on envelopes and even had an address book attached clicked on the name and size of the envelope the return sender was always in the left upper corner - and print! (there was a preview of the envelope what it would look like there also)

Now I always waste a few envelopes or practice papers to get it right!

Is there a simple way for us seniors to do this,- or is there a simple software program out there to fix this up in one shot?

How to create an envelope in Google Docs
There's a nationwide network that connects nearly everyone in the United States. This network delivers tens of billions of ads each year. No, it's not Facebook or the internet. It's the US Postal Service (USPS), which delivered -- by volume -- 80.9 billion advertising items out of 158.4 billion total items in 2013. That's right: about half of USPS mail is ads (if only there was a way to "unsubscribe" to advertising delivered by the USPS)!

Save Clipboard History
Win+Shift+S is a great way to grab a piece of the screen and copy it to the clipboard. And the clipboard now has the ability to save not only the last item copied. It stores all the copied items since the last boot.

To open the clipboard history use Win+V. If the feature has not been turned on it will tell you and give you the option to activate it. There is a maximum of 25 clipboard entries.

If you pin an item to the clipboard it will remain there even after a restart. Open the clipboard history (Win+V) and click the … and choose Pin. The items pinned will stay until deleted. All unpinned items will be lost when the PC is restarted.

One member had a great suggestion. Open Wordpad and paste the items you want to use at a later date so you don’t lose them. You can use this for items that have nothing to do with the clipboard like wedsite URLs, items to remember, etc. Just save the document on your desktop to open when you restart. A good way to keep a running list of things you are working on.

Kodi
There was a lot of discussion about Kodi. It is a free open-source media player. It does not have any content by itself. However, there are free repositories that can be added to it to view many channels of movies, TV shows, sports, pay-for-view, etc all free. You can install it on your PC, on an Amazon Firestick, and many other devices. Not simple to use but once you have it running it is a great way to watch anything you desire.

Here are some past notes about Kodi going back to 2017:

What is Kodi? Kodi is free, open-source software designed specifically with home entertainment in mind – and it's perfect if you're a fan of movies, sports, films, and TV shows. There are many YouTube videos showing how to set it up on your PC, on a Firestick, and other devices. Simply put, as long as you have Internet access you can cut the cable and watch pretty much everything.
